Board approves subdivision of 30 Oak Island/Arcadia Street with recording and site-plan conditions

Applicant Michael Kleia said the immediate request was to separate lots to make them buildable; he said he plans in the future to build a home for his daughter and might pursue a duplex or townhouse that would require additional permitting. "I'm trying to separate the lots so they'll be buildable. And I want to build a house for my daughter," Kleia said.
Board members moved to approve the subdivision. The clerk read conditions that will attach to the grant: the authorized rights will lapse if not exercised within one year of the grant; the variance and plan must be recorded in the (transcript) Suffach County Registry of Deeds and recording information provided to the city clerk and building inspector; and the appellant must obtain site plan review approval before applying for a building permit.
On roll call Mr. Leina, Mr. Lopes, Mr. O'Brien, Mr. Pelton and Chairman Tucker voted yes and the board granted A2615 subject to the listed conditions.
The board closed the meeting with no further business and confirmed the next meeting date as July 29.
