Committee approves lease with Williamson County Fair Association for trailer and pole barn

The Williamson County Property Committee approved a resolution authorizing the Williamson County Mayor to execute a lease agreement with the Williamson County Fair Association Inc. The agreement covers a mobile trailer (acquired from the City of Franklin during emergency response) and a pole barn located on fairgrounds.
County staff explained the county owns the trailer and pole barn and will lease them to the Fair Association on the usual annual schedule. Staff told the committee the trailer was obtained from the City of Franklin when the city ran a standby fire station after a bridge collapse; the Fair board uses the pole barn on the property.
There were no questions and the committee approved the lease by voice vote, recorded as unanimous 3-0.
