At the Dec. 10 Buxton Selectmen meeting the town announced several community items: the transfer station now hosts a medical-equipment lending library that accepts donations and directs interested residents at the recycling booth; a short community ceremony for “Reefs Across America” will be held at the new Tory Hill cemetery on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.; and the town is upgrading meeting audio-visual equipment, with mics active and a camera component awaiting replacement.
Clerk encouraged donations to the lending library and reminded residents of transfer station hours (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday). The clerk also noted that the Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 selectmen meetings will not be held because of holidays and provided normal town-office hours for those dates.
No formal votes were required for these announcements.
