"We are requesting that the funds come from unused transportation, athletics savings and unemployment insurance, and the consultant services for the board of ed retreat facilitator that was not used," Rich said.
Board members moved and seconded the consent agenda; the chair called the question and the board approved the consent agenda unanimously. Board members also recorded an explicit vote from Trustee Katie when asked to confirm her vote. The consent agenda included other routine items (May 12 minutes, April 26 financial report, acceptance of several contemplated gifts and personnel reports) that were approved as part of the package.
Why it matters: The transfer covers a district personnel cost without raising new appropriations; it relies on reallocating underused budget lines within the approved overall budget. The district did not indicate a need for additional tax or grant revenue related to this transfer.
