Belmar council tables $2.45 million bond ordinance after questions on scope and timing

After extended discussion, including the recognition that grant timelines and award windows may affect some projects, the council voted to table the ordinance to collect additional details, share departmental reports and proposals, and present a revised package at a subsequent meeting.
No final spending decisions were made at the meeting; the CFO and staff were directed to supply reports and suggested categorizations (ready-to-go, needs-more-information, or likely to be deferred) before the ordinance returns to the council.
