MRI came in at 69,850," the Town administrator said while summarizing the bids. Staff noted the town had a little over $70,000 in a rebalancing capital reserve fund, making MRI's price feasible against that balance.
Board members asked whether there were substantive differences in scope beyond price; staff said they did not immediately discern significant scope differences in the materials provided and offered to make all bid documents available for the board to review. A motion was made to award the statistical update to MRI for $69,850; a voice vote was recorded in the meeting.
The board directed staff to notify relevant contacts and to provide the full bid packages for review if any member requests them. The Town administrator said staff will notify Lauren and Christian about contracting steps the following day.
