Chris Bartellini, identified in the video as an owner of Bartellini's restaurant, said his business will expand to downtown Midlothian and cited the community's access and workforce advantages.
Trustees said they will invite local businesses to a preview event tied to the streetscaping initiative; the meeting record clarified the date for business invitations as May 19. The board encouraged businesses to contact the economic development committee for available properties and support.
