The Scott Township board introduced resident Martin Palma as a candidate to fill a planning commission vacancy that expires March 1, 2029. Palma said he lives at 1340 Spreading Out Drive, has lived in the township about 21 years and described a career in law enforcement and facilities management, including 15 years as an executive director of facilities at a community college and more than 25 years with Allegheny County in courthouse and airport roles.
The board thanked Palma for his interest and invited him to return for a vote. Chair members said the formal appointment will be considered at the board’s December 23 voting meeting. No formal vote or action was taken at the workshop.
