Commissioner Paul W. Heimel moved to approve the proclamation; Commissioner Robert W. Rossman seconded and the board recorded Heimel yes; Rossman yes; Grupp yes. The proclamation text included the chapter's role in promoting rider education and improving public perception of motorcyclists.
The proclamation was entered into the meeting record and the commissioners offered their public recognition to the guests in attendance.
