Brockton council approves promotions for three police officers

The Brockton City Council approved promotions for three officers in the Brockton Police Department, and the officers were sworn in during the same meeting. Lieutenant David Farrell was elevated to captain, Sergeant Michael Livingston to lieutenant and Officer Thomas Delaney to sergeant.

Each officer repeated the oath and was instructed to sign the oath book; officials and attendees applauded following the swearing-in.
