Swarthmore Borough Council adopts resolution honoring late planner Nancy Lyn Templeton

Borough Council unanimously adopted Resolution 08-204 at the Oct. 7 work session to honor Nancy Lyn Templeton for her years of service on the Planning Commission and other advisory groups.
The resolution, read in full at the meeting, noted Templetons planning credentials and regional contributions; Planning Commission Chair James LaVine spoke in tribute to Templetons mentoring, technical knowledge and steadying presence. LaVine asked Templetons family to join the council at the front of the chamber to accept the resolution.
Council then approved the resolution by voice vote and presented the family with the document and a commemorative clock.
