Commissioners also approved a letter of support for the Great Peninsula Conservancy’s Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program application for the Potlatch Tree Farm protection project and awarded $350,000 from the Rural County Sales and Use Tax Fund to the Port of Shelton.
During discussion several commissioners noted outreach on the sales‑tax award and expressed support for forest and shoreline conservation efforts. No additional public testimony was requested for the consent items. The action agenda passed by voice vote.
