The Franklin Conservation Commission handled several land‑use notices of intent and procedural items at its Jan. 29 meeting.
After the lengthy hearing and vote on 444 East Central Street, the commission granted a continuance for the Nicholas Drive/Prospect Street culvert repair NOI to Feb. 12, 2026 at the applicant’s request. The commission then opened and approved the NOI for 119 West Central Street after staff and applicant Jean Christie reviewed standard special conditions and a project‑specific line/survey requirement for Gorellic Farms flooding‑resiliency improvements (approved only for that project, plan revised Jan. 8, 2026).
Later the commission approved the NOI for 80 Spring Street (lot 2), accepting standard conditions and a buffer‑zone monitoring condition; applicant representative Seth Dono (Dillis & Royce Design Group) confirmed the package. A separate NOI for Symphony Drive/Tanglewood Estates was continued to Feb. 12, 2026 pending peer‑review fees and submittal items.
Commissioners also approved the minutes of the Jan. 15 meeting with corrections to plan and report dates (clarifying that the restoration/replication plan and civil/landscape plan sets bear different revision dates).
