Wrentham board approves routine minutes, appointments, warrants and accepts resignations

At its Aug. 13 meeting the Select Board approved the July 9 minutes, signed the State primary election warrant, appointed election workers and a historical commission associate member, and accepted resignations from the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Cultural Council. The Wrentham Select Board completed several routine actions at the Aug. 13 meeting.
Minutes: The board approved the July 9, 2024 open session minutes; one member abstained because they were absent from that meeting, and the motion passed by roll call.
Elections: The board voted to sign the 2024 State primary election warrant and appointed the slate of election workers for terms effective immediately through April 30, 2025 (roll calls recorded).
Appointments and resignations: The board appointed Zach Oel as an associate member of the Historical Commission for a term through June 30, 2027 (motion carried by roll call). The board accepted with regret the resignation of Walter Pelrine from the Zoning Board of Appeals, effective July 31, 2024, and accepted a resignation from Judy Hoy from the Cultural Council; both were accepted by unanimous votes.
Other votes: The board also appointed Robin Tobin to the Employees Group Health Insurance Advisory Committee and completed routine roll‑call votes for committee appointments.
The meeting concluded after the Town Administrator’s report and a roll‑call vote to adjourn.
