Sylvania proclaims March 2026 Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

The mayor read a proclamation highlighting the board's mission and historical work and formally declared March 2026 as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month in Sylvania.
Council members and attendees applauded the recognition. The proclamation acknowledges the local history of services dating to early efforts in the 1930s and notes March as nationally recognized for developmental disabilities awareness.
