Bolton library to seek replacement vendor after downloadable museum ticket service ends; community programs and donations continue

Library minutes report that the vendor supplying downloadable museum tickets has gone out of business, and Bibliomation is researching potential replacement vendors. Until a replacement is in place, downloadable museum tickets are not available, but physical museum passes can still be checked out at the Bentley Memorial Library.
The minutes list a run of community programs and services: Mark Nystrom is conducting individualized classes on computer use and other library skills; the library hosted a blood-pressure screening organized with EHHD; "Read to the Dogs" had 21 attendees; a lotus-lanterns workshop and the traditional Pajama Storytime were both described as popular. The library collected 14 handmade blankets plus hats and socks that were donated to the Rockville shelter.
Friends of the Library activities continue to support programming: the group meets every two months, operates ongoing book sales and the library coffee station, and provides partial program funding. The director's report also notes a Bibliomation site visit is scheduled for Feb. 25 at 2:00 p.m. to address vendor and service issues.
