The minutes, submitted by Loni Hryn, vice chair of the Bentley Memorial Library Board, said the library’s operating budget for the coming year will remain the same as last year’s. The Board of Finance also reinstated a line item for furniture and fixtures; the minutes do not specify the dollar amount attached to that line item.
Library leaders and staff highlighted that the grant is intended to support library services and programming, and the Friends of the Library continue fundraising activities to supplement programming budgets. The library is selling 2025 calendars on behalf of the Hop River Trail Alliance and the Bolton Conservation Commission, and the Friends group runs regular book sales, operates a coffee station and helps pay for some programs, the minutes say.
