Wildwood approves slate of resolutions including emergency repair contracts, TDC appointment and $4.97M in bills

At its Aug. 27 meeting the Wildwood Board of Commissioners approved a slate of resolutions (Nos. 340-8-25 through 353-8-25) that included several administrative and contract actions.
Among the items read into the record were the removal of Angelo Giouros from the Wildwood Tourism Development Commission and the appointment of Grace Schwab to fill that seat through Dec. 31, 2027; refunds for tax and fee overpayments; and authorization of emergency contracts for hydrant repair on Maple Avenue and for emergency work at Well 49 at Myrtle Avenue and Park Blvd. The slate also included award of contracts for event services for the 19th Annual Block Party ($45,150.00) and an increase to the Trinity Code contract (building, plumbing and electrical services) and a non-fair and open contract to GRR Consulting Services, LLC for up to $25,000.00 in consulting and advisory services.
The consent slate contained Resolution No. 350-8-25 urging the governor and Legislature to enact regulations governing electric bicycles and scooters on public areas. The board approved the entire slate by a unanimous roll-call vote. The minutes record payment authorization for bills dated Aug. 27, 2025 totaling $4,969,001.83.
The minutes list contractor names and dollar caps for several emergency and event contracts but do not include awarded vendor contracts or signatures beyond those read into the record; project or procurement files in the City Clerk's Office were noted for the engineer's report.
