Granville Car Show draws record 308 vehicles, trustees say

Trustee Denise Davies told the Village Board Oct. 6 that the Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Car Show, held Sept. 28 at the Granville Little League Complex, drew a record 308 cars and more than 1,000 patrons. Davies said vendors performed well and attendees came from across the region, calling the day an "excellent" event for Granville.
Mayor Paul Labas and trustees thanked the Chamber, the DPW and many volunteers for their roles in supporting the event. The Board noted the car show, along with holiday decorations and other community activities, contributes to civic pride and local recreation.
No follow-up action was required by the Board beyond acknowledging the report and thanking organizers.
