The Princeton Planning Commission elected Ed Aldridge as president and Bob Gibson as vice president during its Jan. 21, 2026 meeting and then approved the minutes from its Dec. 17, 2025 meeting before adjourning.
The election took place after the chair opened the floor for nominations. A member nominated Ed Aldridge for president and the slate, which named Bob Gibson as vice president, was moved and seconded. The commission used a voice vote and the chair declared the nominees elected.
The chair then read the minutes of the Dec. 17, 2025 meeting, which the commission accepted by voice vote. The Dec. 17 minutes recorded that meeting's call to order at 6:00 p.m., attendance, prior motions to accept earlier minutes, distribution of the 2026 meeting schedule and an adjournment by voice vote.
With no old business and no substantive new business presented, a member moved to adjourn, a second was recorded and the chair announced the motion carried.
The meeting record includes roll call responses from Ed Aldridge, Cecil Allen, Dan Beard, Bob Gibson, Sean Packer, Randy Scales, Janelle Wood and Clint Smith. No formal votes with recorded tallies were taken; elections and approvals were conducted by voice vote as reflected in the meeting transcript.
