Parks director presents longstanding volunteer award to local lacrosse and hockey volunteer

At the opening of the March 16 Select Board meeting, Rick, the town’s director of parks and recreation, presented the Robinson community volunteer award to a local volunteer identified in the discussion as Paul.
Rick described Paul’s more than 10–15 years of sustained volunteer work running youth lacrosse programs, organizing winter and year-round play, coaching at Mountain View Middle School and supporting the town’s youth hockey and lacrosse development efforts. Rick thanked Paul and several family members who were present and noted Paul’s service as an equipment manager, coach and volunteer broadcaster for youth events.
The board and those attending applauded the recipient. Rick and the board encouraged photos and brief remarks; the presentation concluded with the board thanking Paul for his service to Goffstown youth programming.
