Seven Hills council approves four emergency ordinances and adopts fire-levy resolution

Councilman Brian Kelly moved Ordinance 27-2026 by title; the measure authorizes the mayor to enter into an escrow agreement with LSB 7 Hills LLC and Omni Title Agency LTD related to the development of a portion of city property and appropriates $125,000 as required in the escrow agreement. The council approved the emergency clause and passed the ordinance as an emergency measure.
Councilman Mororrow moved Ordinance 28-2026, which authorizes the mayor to exercise a one-year option to extend the agreement with Quality Control Inspection, Inc. (QCI), contract no. 12-270-25, for services related to the 2025 road program and the Rockside Road Development Project; the ordinance appropriates the amounts reflected in the attached fee schedule. The council approved the emergency clause and passed the ordinance as an emergency measure.
Finally, Councilman Castanza moved to read and adopt Resolution 11-2026 by title; the resolution amends Resolution 10-2025 to accept the amounts and rates determined by the budget commission and certifies the necessary tax levies to the county auditor to include the fire levy renewal that voters approved on May 5, 2026. The council approved the emergency clause and adopted the resolution.
