Union City Borough Council discussed potential amendments to the parking ordinance for Municipal Lot No. 2 and the proposed shift to angled front-end parking during its June 25 meeting. Council asked the streets supervisor to review the lot layout before further action.
The council also briefly considered proposed zoning changes related to small games of chance and the placement of pools in vacant adjoining lots. Members decided to defer both zoning items until the borough solicitor can attend and provide legal review and recommendations.
No ordinance changes were adopted at the meeting; the items were left for further consideration at a future session when the solicitor is present.
