Skuches said his board will meet this week and that the formal approval by the commission could follow after the board action.
Skuches also summarized programming and outreach led by the extension office — VITA, 4‑H, youth livestock events, a master gardener program and an intern supporting summer work — and said the office plans to use a small reserve ($9,000) if needed. Commissioners asked procedural questions about the timeline; no final appropriation vote occurred at the meeting.
