The Town of Berthoud opened its April 21 Board of Trustees meeting with recognition of outgoing members and the swearing‑in of new trustees.
Mayor (addressing the board) thanked Trustees Tim Hardy, Carl Ayers and Mark Brody for their service, noting contributions to planning, parks, the Affordable Housing Task Force and other committees. Families and community members were invited to join a round of applause.
Clerk Christian Zamora administered oaths of office. Shawn Murphy (Mayor Pro Tem) repeated the statutory oath to support the U.S. and Colorado Constitutions, to obey state and municipal law and to faithfully perform the duties of trustee. Casey Grace and Karen Anderson were also sworn in and congratulated.
The board noted that trustee Arnal Ulbrich will be sworn at the April 28 meeting. Trustees paused for photographs and then moved to the scheduled board orientation and training.
