City Attorney Miss Patel said the resolution provides the required reasonable notice of public meetings and readopts the provisions of prior Resolution 2013-1466 (procedural reference in the packet), noting the only change was the year. "This is our kickoff resolution for the Open Meetings Act that we do every year," she said.
A councilor moved and a second was made; the council voted 4-0 to approve Resolution 2026-2036. There was no substantive discussion.
Next steps: the resolution will remain on the record as the city’s annual notice for public meetings under Section 10-15-1 of the New Mexico Statutes Annotated.
