At its April 28 meeting the Select Board approved a package of routine motions by voice vote, including business renewals, appointments and public-works petitions.
The board approved pool-table renewal applications for Crazy Axes Foxboro LLC (202 Patriot Place), Foxborough VFW Post 2026 (337 Cucasset Street), Laced Pizza and Pub (94 Washington Street) and Rally Point (9 Mechanic Street), extending licenses to April 30, 2027.
Appointments approved included Kathleen Prior to the Conservation Commission (term to May 31, 2029) and Connie Gonzalez to the Veterans Services Advisory Committee (term to May 31, 2029).
The board approved use of the MBTA parking lot on County Street for commuter-rail staff on World Cup match days and granted several poll/pole relocation petitions filed by Massachusetts Electric Company/National Grid and Verizon New England to relocate poles and install midspan poles on Prospect Street, Chestnut Street, Pone/Ponet Avenue and North Street.
All items were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote; explicit recorded roll-call tallies were not read into the record during the meeting.
