Separately, staff updated the board on Sky Business Park infrastructure: after further discussion with the local water authority, the IDA is considering installing a glass-lined water tank (staff estimated it might hold up to 300,000 gallons) but must rebid procurement to meet the authority’s specifications. The board approved a not-to-exceed $7,600 authorization to proceed with the rebid and related procurement steps.
The board also discussed related legal and scheduling matters: a court appearance for IDA v. Bartland Judas was noted for an upcoming Thursday, and staff said the project team will notify the New York State Department of Health and pursue any path to preserve future grant eligibility once a lead applicant and formal intermunicipal agreements are in place.
