Wetlands Agent Alyssa Barroso updated the Bolton Inland Wetlands Commission on enforcement and neighbor‑maintenance matters at the Feb. 25 meeting.
On a Cease and Correct order at 37 Notch Road, Barroso said the property owner has been cooperative but there has been no corrective work since the last meeting. The owner is waiting for a soil‑scientist visit; Barroso said she plans to visit the site on Friday and the owner is expected to attend the March commission meeting.
Barroso also reported a neighbor‑maintenance issue on Shady Lane involving an overflow/ditch maintenance problem. Chair Ross Lally asked whether the matter constituted a public‑safety issue or an enforcement issue and requested more details before the commission proceeds. Barroso said she will inspect the site and report back to the commission.
The updates deliver next steps rather than final decisions: the commission requested follow‑up inspections and further reports at the March meeting.
