Wetlands Agent Alyssa Barroso reported a site visit and said she had no concerns about the proposed conversion of an outbuilding at 139 Vernon Road to a studio with a bathroom. Barroso noted there is a buffer between the building and the lake and that the applicant submitted silt‑fence plan details. Daniel Dziadul told the Commission the Health Department is awaiting the Commission’s approval. Vice Chair James Loersch moved to issue the permit for #IW‑25‑1; the motion, seconded by Diane DeNunzio, passed 4‑0‑0.
On a second application, Barroso said a proposed septic system at 20 Goodwin Road lies about 40 feet from an intermittent stream and she had no concerns with that separation. Applicant Chris Sutyla (County Line Septic) said excavated material will be hauled off site, leaving only a small pile of topsoil. Loersch moved to issue the permit for #IW‑25‑2 with the same state‑regulation condition; the motion passed 4‑0‑0.
For a third application, Barroso said she worked with applicant James Read on a "robust riparian buffer" for a single‑family home proposed at 0 Vernon Road and provided a plant‑list guide to support plantings in some buffer areas. Read told the Commission he has received Health Department approval. Diane DeNunzio moved to issue the permit for #IW‑25‑3; the vote was 4‑0‑0.
