LaSalle County Circuit Clerk Greg reported to the Law and Justice Committee on May 26 that April county receipts were $247,291 and agency payments were $68,470.
Greg presented workload figures: 1,577 cases were filed in April (an increase from March), 1,256 cases closed, and the office maintains about 10,896 open cases. He also said there were 56 orders of protection and approximately 20 passport transactions.
Greg said the office currently has one staff opening. He noted staff reorganized office space and installed new LED lighting; the office will attend a zone meeting at the Cook County Circuit Clerk’s office to observe operations there.
Committee members raised no questions. Greg’s bills and the office’s invoices were held for processing at the end of the meeting along with other departmental bills.
