The town will pay the settlements and be reimbursed per an existing reimbursement agreement with the landowner/developer (Land Investment LLC).
Council moved and approved each payment individually and then approved amended budget ordinance No. 6 to appropriate funds and recognize corresponding reimbursements. Motions passed by voice vote.
What’s next: Melanie Cox will draft the required consent judgment for the Cunningham settlement and staff will execute reimbursement paperwork with the developer; the town’s finance staff will track reimbursements through the amended budget appropriation.
