Katie Lang read the town’s 2026 license renewals at the Dec. 16 Select Board meeting and the board voted to approve the list as presented.
Lang said inspections and finance checks cleared the majority of the renewals; a small number of renewals were to be held by Lang and the health department until outstanding payments were resolved. The list read aloud included on-premise and off-premise alcohol licenses, entertainment licenses and auto-dealer licenses. Notable licensees included venues at Patriot Place (restaurants, entertainment venues and Gillette Stadium), Showcase Cinema Deluxe Patriot Place, Davio’s North Italian Steakhouse, a range of eateries in downtown Foxborough and multiple Dunkin’ Donuts locations.
"Everything is kind of all ducks in a row," Lang said, praising coordination between inspectional services and finance. A motion to approve all licenses as read was seconded and approved with no opposition.
The board also approved specific event-related license requests later in the meeting, including six one-day beer-and-wine licenses for Wormtown Brewery for January comedy nights and an extended-hours approval for Lake View Pavilion to begin alcohol service at 10 a.m. on Sundays in 2026.
