District administrators circulated approval sheets for Warm Safe and Dry system-replacement projects and described next steps and timelines for potential state funding.
Superintendent Mr Bigs said the division'level approval confirms projects meet specifications but "this approval does not guarantee or imply State funding." He said the district will meet with Dr. Stein for a status update and two-year planning ahead of any funding cycle; if the projects are funded, the district would have four years to complete work after a funding award.
The administration asked the board to note the materials in the packet (page 23) and said staff will continue planning so the district can act quickly if funding is awarded. No formal funding decision was made during the meeting; the board received the update for future consideration.
