Eversource wins Select Board approval to bury short service line to 140 Linda Lane

Marissa Jackson with Eversource summarized the plan, saying the work would originate at existing pole 251/4 at the cul‑de‑sac on Linda Lane and extend underground to a single hand hole and conduit to serve the property. "This will provide our customer located at 140 Linda Lane with new underground service," Jackson said.
The board opened the public hearing, sought questions and received none from members of the public. After brief discussion the board moved to approve the installation; the motion was seconded and the vote was taken by roll call: Aye votes were recorded and the motion passed 4–0.
The company indicated the request came from the property owner at 140 Linda Lane and that construction scheduling would accommodate available signatures while a crew member was out of town. The board closed the hearing and directed staff to finalize any necessary permitting and scheduling steps.
Next steps: Eversource will coordinate permitting and on‑site work with town staff and the property owner; the public hearing record will be closed and any required permits issued consistent with the approved plan.
