Pepper Pike authorizes pilot composting contract with Rust Belt Riders

Pepper Pike — The City Council voted May 27 to authorize the mayor to enter into a pilot contract with Rust Belt Riders to offer a community composting and recycling service.

Councilors heard a presentation describing the program as a pay-per-use composting collection model: the city would provide an enclosed corral area and Rust Belt Riders would supply collection bins, education and on-call collection when bins fill.
