At the Jan. 27 meeting the clerk read introductions for four ordinances and the council voted to introduce them by unanimous roll call. The ordinances are:
- Ordinance 1508: Amend chapter 71 to revise Recreation Department fees. - Ordinance 1509: Amend chapter 71 to revise building-department fees. - Ordinance 1510: Amend chapter 109 concerning land-use procedures. - Ordinance 1511: Amend chapter 7 regarding street regulations.
Each ordinance was introduced, with second readings and public hearings scheduled for Feb. 24, 2025. The motions to introduce were moved and seconded on the floor and recorded by roll call; no substantive debate on the ordinance text occurred during the meeting.
