Students and Tiger Elementary art teacher showcase projects ahead of graduation

Vajay explained how classroom projects teach Minnesota state standards — including elements of art, safe studio practices, reflection and revision — and showed examples such as clay leaves, mixed‑color exercises and stop‑motion animation created with iPads. She said the projects help students build fine motor skills, creativity, problem solving and collaboration.
The board thanked the student representative and Vajay for the presentation. Administrators and board members noted upcoming end‑of‑year events and recognized staff for their work on student programs.
Next steps: the art show and senior events will proceed as scheduled; administrators will continue outreach and recognition for student achievements.
