Board sticks with EPDM and awards high-school roofing base bid

After discussion, the board moved to accept the low base bid for EPDM and the motion carried. The base-bid figure recorded during the motion was $1,264,698. Administration said this project remains subject to standard warranty and manufacturer inspection protocols.
Board members emphasized long-term durability and maintenance considerations in preferring EPDM over the lower-cost TPO alternate.
Administration will proceed with contracting and scheduling per the approved bid documents.
