The Somers Planning Board on Feb. 11 took several procedural and approval actions:
• Minutes: The board voted unanimously to accept the draft minutes of its Jan. 14 meeting as amended.
• Melissa Harney final subdivision: After clarifying the sequencing of conditions (moving certain items to be "prior to issuance of a building permit" rather than prior to plat signing), the board approved Resolution 2026‑02 granting additional final subdivision approval, tree permit and stormwater/erosion control permits for property at 10 Kira Lane (tax map 16.07‑1‑3). Staff will file the signed resolution and noted that the board requested tightened language on permit conditions prior to building permit issuance.
• Waivers and routine items: The board waived the sitewalk and public hearing and directed staff to draft a confirmatory resolution for the New Singular Wireless (AT&T) amended special use permit on Route 100. The board also waived the public hearing for a Two Hagaman Court single‑family site plan revision and asked the applicant to supply photos and address staff comments prior to a resolution being prepared.
Votes were unanimous on the recorded motions at the Feb. 11 meeting.
