Emily Mitchell, Harwich town clerk, told the Select Board that the annual town election will be held Tuesday, May 19 and that polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Harwich Community Center gymnasium. She said voters from all four precincts vote at that site.
Mitchell said residents seeking a mail‑in ballot must apply by 5:00 p.m. on May 12; applications must be received by the clerk’s office by that deadline so the office can mail ballots for this election. Those voting by mail must return their mailed ballot to the clerk’s office by the close of polls at 8:00 p.m. on May 19.
The clerk encouraged residents to contact the clerk’s office or visit the town website for application details and hours for hand delivery.
