Commission approves routine plats and interlocal agreements; terminates stalled TIRZ and backs several property and personnel actions

- Property purchase for future water plant (agenda item 11A): The commission ratified a purchase agreement for property across from public works (legal description in the record) intended to secure a site for a second water plant; staff said the purchase price aligned with an appraisal.
- Renewal of municipal court judge agreement (agenda item 11B): The commission approved renewal of the agreement for Judge Melissa Canales.
- Conveyance to Development Corporation (agenda item 11C): Commission approved conveyance of specified real estate to the Development Corporation of Mercedes to support development goals.
- Letter of support (open session after executive session): Commission approved a letter of support for an American Legion project and other priority projects to assist grant applications.
