District 57 honors Special Olympics athletes; student board members report on multicultural fair and new school progress

Later, student board members reported on the Fairview Multicultural Fair and described helping with activities such as face painting and henna. Students said the new school’s construction is visible from windows — gym and cafeteria framing is in place — and expressed excitement about the new facility. Student representatives who are leaving the board were thanked for their service.
