Council declines to direct staff to pursue change to Concord's chicken ordinance

Council members noted the matter had been debated in prior years and that the existing acreage threshold had been adopted in May 2024 following extensive review.
Next steps: The planning staff will not prepare a text amendment under current direction; any future change would require the planning staff or sponsoring council member to request the item again for a future meeting.
