The board also authorized the superintendent to declare several items surplus (11 old student desks, an old sewing table, split rail fence sections, PVC pipe and a Kohler engine) and permit sale or disposal with a public record kept of any sales.
Motions for the consent agenda and each personnel resolution were moved and seconded on the record; approvals were by voice vote with no roll-call tallies read aloud. Where salaries, probationary terms and effective dates were specified in the motions, the board read them into the record during the meeting.
