Commission postpones decision on Sparks Drive parking expansion pending shared‑parking and TDM details

The Planning Commission voted to postpone consideration of a proposed parking expansion at 3850–3900 Sparks Drive after staff and the applicant acknowledged that the parking demand study showed peak demand exceeding available spaces and recommended mitigation measures.

Commissioners noted available parking in the wider Sparks/28th/Paris area but asked the applicant to document outreach and demonstrate employer commitments that could materially reduce single‑occupant vehicle trips.
