The chief also reported 18 accidents and said officers worked 18 “grand hours” (as recorded in the transcript) and contributed roughly 30 hours to court appearances related to ordinance, traffic and criminal cases during the month.
The chief highlighted training and community outreach: officers attended ground‑fighting and advanced roadside impaired driving enforcement training; the department hosted training with Mammoth Roseville High School using the school’s wrestling room; several Mammoth College students completed ride‑alongs as part of coursework; kindergarten classes from Lincoln School toured the police department; and a coordinated active‑threat training day was held with Casey Hendrickson, listed as emergency management coordinator for OSF Holy Family.
The chief noted scheduled vehicle maintenance for several squad cars and said planning is underway for multiple 2026 public events including the Stoneware swap meet in June and a car show in July.
Council members did not take formal action on the report; it was received for the record.
