The most substantial site is on Landis Road, where staff said an engineering assessment indicates the work will likely require a standard GP-11 permit (rather than an emergency GP-11) and could cost in the neighborhood of $55,000–$60,000 depending on design choices such as a head wall to protect the pipe outlet.
Engineers noted that certain environmental contingencies (e.g., bog-turtle or wetland studies) would increase permitting and construction costs if encountered. Staff recommended moving the Landis Road permit request and associated budget planning into early 2026, while continuing immediate monitoring and temporary stabilization where necessary to reduce risk of further storm damage.
The board gave staff consensus to proceed with engineering procurement and budgeting steps; no binding contract authorization was made at the Oct. 2 meeting.
