Ottawa council approves bridge funding, equipment purchases, contracts and appointments

Mayor Robert Hasty presented and the council adopted a lease agreement with Basecamp Create LLC for the Columbus and Jackson Street parking lot and accepted a grant agreement from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for the Ottawa Industrial Park watermain. The council approved an amendment to the employment agreement for Daniel Pond as Community Development Assistant, amended the Art Committee membership from seven to nine and appointed Kaillee Martin (term to expire April 1, 2029).
