Council approved a Tour of the Gila VIP beer garden permit for May 2, 2026, at 601 North Bullard Street with Little Toad Creek Brewery and Distillery (license SBL000032) as liquor licensee. A companion permit for a public beer garden on the same date and location passed in a separate vote.
The council next approved a First Friday celebration permit for April 3, 2026, to be run by Open Space Brewing (SBL000112) at 214 West Yankie. The applicant, Alexa Tubbs, described the event as an effort to bring more energy to First Fridays.
Council also approved a permit for Light Art Space Red Dot Weekend (April 3) at 209 West Broadway; applicant Karen Himer said Owens Winery would sell wine at the event and clerks confirmed contact availability for the establishment.
Councilors requested and staff confirmed that server permits and server identification numbers were current for the events. All listed permits passed by roll call votes recorded with ayes on the record.
